FAQS
Can you get me to the first page in Google?
Yes and no. First of all, you rank per keyword. So for example, I rank #1 for the keyword ‘jarimbi’, my brand. Mostly likely you will rank on Google’s first page for your business name too. If you don’t, you either have a very generic brand name, or there is something seriously wrong with your SEO.
Now ranking for keywords describing your business is something else. If you have a very specialized product it will be easier to rank high, if you have a more generic service it will be harder. We will always start with a Keyword Analysis to find the right keywords for your business.
Why don’t you have packages & monthly retainers?
I believe in giving you exactly what you need. And that will be different from what company ABC needs. So I will work with you to define the online marketing strategy fit for you and your budget. Nothing more, nothing less.
What exactly is online or digital marketing?
Online/digital marketing is all the marketing that happens on the internet.
It includes: websites, SEO (search engine optimization), social media, online directories, online advertising, email, guest blogging, and affiliate marketing.
Do I need all the above?
For most small & medium businesses, just a few of the online marketing methods described above are needed. Jarimbi will help you decide where to best put your effort and money.
Do I need a Facebook Business Page? I don’t like Facebook!
It’s not a question if you like Facebook, but if your customers like Facebook.
Most probably they do.
And even if you do not create your own Facebook page, chances are Facebook has already automatically created a page for your business. You better take control over it.
Now some businesses lend themselves more for active social profiles, while others are just fine with less social interaction. Jarimbi will help you decide in what category you fall.
What is a responsive website?
“Responsive” means that your website adjusts to the device it is viewed on. So no matter if you look at your website on a desktop, a tablet or a mobile phone, it will always be legible and usable.
Do I need a responsive website? My clients don’t use smart phones.
According to the PEW Research Center 77% percent of the US adults owned a smart phone in January 2018 and the numbers are still increasing. Check out their statistics on internet and device usage. http://www.pewinternet.org/fact-sheet/mobile/
If you are still not convinced then I can show you the statistics for your own website. The numbers for my clients vary from 30% to 60% mobile users.
Mobile internet use is only expected to grow. Google is putting more and more emphasis on mobile-friendly sites so in the end you will be losing out if you do not make your site responsive.
I built my own website in Wix, Shopify, etc. Why do I need a WordPress site?
You don’t always need a WordPress website. For some smaller businesses, these DIY website builders are just fine. However, if you are serious about Search Engine Optimization and tracking your website traffic, a WordPress website has much more to offer.
